Soothsayer

For the past two weeks we have now been in the back café to rehearse our play. I really think that we are doing very good, everyone is working together and when we work together it makes the rehearsal easier to do. I have learned most of my lines and the more that we rehearse the more I can remember my lines without looking at the paper. I hope this play turns out to be good because I really don’t want to look like a fool when we perform in front of everyone. Like I said before I play the soothsayer and I found a way that I am comfortable to perform out this character. The way that I will act the character of the soothsayer is to act like I had a dream about Caesar getting killed and I will warn him not in scary way but a very serious way so that he will remember what I said to him. The thing that I say to Caesar is "Beware the Ides of March" and this means that on March 15th Caesar needs to look out for this day. When I tell Caesar to "Beware the Ides of March" I point at him and walk up to him very slowly to let him know that I’m not playing this Dream that I had is very serious. We give each other eye contact and I think that Caesar gets scared but just doesn’t want to let the people know.
